About me and my therapy practice
If you are feeling overwhelmed, low, anxious, or stuck in a cycle of overthinking, counselling can help you make new sense of your life.
I offer compassionate support, helping you work towards feeling more self-confident and at ease in yourself. Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationship or family difficulties, or struggling with anxiety, depression or low self-esteem, we can work at your pace to understand what is happening for you, and what feels most challenging right now.
From our first session, I focus on building trust and connection. I am interested in getting to know you on a deeper level, not just what you’re struggling with, but what lies underneath. Supporting you to discover your own resilience and capacity for personal growth.
Alongside this, I can help you find practical ways to manage anxiety, low mood, grief and emotional challenges, exploring patterns in your thinking to make sense of your feelings. Discovering more balanced, meaningful ways of responding.
My decision to become a counsellor was influenced by my own experience of being a client, which helps me appreciate how important it is to feel safe, understood, and able to be yourself in the room.
Practice description
Each person’s story is unique, and I offer an inclusive, non-judgement space, drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT-informed approaches, tailoring our sessions to what feels most helpful for you.
I feel my strength lies in showing care and understanding . Working at your pace to gain a sense of your experience, and what feels most challenging for you. Together, we can gain insight, develop resilience and more compassionate ways of relating to yourself and others, building healthier ways forward.
I offer one-to-one online counselling on either a short-term or open-ended basis for adults (18+) across the UK.
My first session

Choosing a counsellor can feel daunting, particularly if this is your first experience of counselling. If you would like to take the next step, I offer a free 15-minute online introductory session. This is an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to counselling, ask any questions, and see how we might work together.
After that, if you decide to take the next step, we can work out a regular day and time to meet. Sessions are 50 minutes long, delivered online. For counselling to be most effective it is beneficial to attend weekly.
I work with clients on both a short and long term basis, depending on your individual needs and goals. This is something we can review together throughout the counselling process.
