About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life feels harder than it should. You may be coping on the outside while struggling on the inside, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, low self-esteem, or challenges that are difficult to make sense of on your own. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to face it alone.
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor, providing a warm, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly and without judgment. I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, life transitions, work-related stress, bereavement, childhood trauma, and personal growth.
I believe that each person is unique, shaped by their own experiences, relationships, and life story. For this reason, I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I work collaboratively with you, adapting therapy to meet your individual needs and helping you explore whatever feels important to you.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself. I believe that when we feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted, it becomes easier to develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and confidence in ourselves.
Together, we can work towards a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and the challenges you are facing, helping you move forward in a way that feels authentic and manageable for you.
Practice description
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in creating meaningful and lasting change. This might mean making space to explore your past, developing practical tools to manage anxiety in the present, or simply having somewhere to talk openly.
For me, counselling is about creating a safe, confidential space where all parts of you are welcome without fear of judgement. Together, we can explore the challenges you face while also recognising, valuing, and building on your unique strengths.
I am committed to providing an inclusive and respectful therapeutic space, where people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences feel welcomed and supported.
Alongside my private practice, I work in counselling agency settings supporting adults and young adults with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, abuse and life transitions.
My first session
Reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, which is why I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of whether my way of working feels right for you.
If you decide to go ahead, our first session is a gentle starting point where we can begin to get to know one another and explore what has brought you to therapy. At the end of this session, if we both feel that we’re a good fit and you would like to continue, we can arrange ongoing sessions together.
I typically work with clients on a weekly basis, either short- or long-term. However, I understand that everyone’s circumstances are different, and I aim to offer some flexibility around the frequency and timing of sessions where possible.

About me and my therapy practice
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or lonely - even when things appear fine on the surface. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, or relationship difficulties, or perhaps you feel stuck, burnt out, or unsure of how to move forward.
Therapy can offer a chance to pause, reflect, and begin untangling what you’ve been carrying. I’m here to walk alongside you and support you to build self-acceptance, gain clarity, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, but it can also be an important first step towards meaningful change. I aim to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
My approach is relational and trauma informed, and I’m mindful of how past experiences may still be impacting you today. We work gently and collaboratively, so you remain in control of the process. Throughout our time together my work will be guided by empathy, integrity and a commitment to build a trusting relationship where you feel safe to be your authentic self.
