About me and my therapy practice
You may feel stuck in repeating relationship patterns, find it hard to set boundaries, or notice anxiety, self-criticism, or emotional overwhelm that feels hard to shift. Often, these patterns have roots in earlier relational experiences.
I am a trauma-informed psychotherapeutic counsellor (based in Enfield, EN1), specialising in childhood trauma, relational trauma, family issues, narcissistic abuse recovery, and Complex PTSD (CPTSD). I offer trauma counselling for adults who feel stuck in repeating relationship patterns, struggle with boundaries, or experience anxiety, self-criticism, or emotional overwhelm linked to earlier experiences.
I particularly support clients experiencing:
- Childhood trauma and attachment wounds
- Narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationships
- Relational trauma and repeating patterns
- Complex PTSD (CPTSD) and emotional regulation difficulties
I have a particular interest in working with relational trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery.
Many of my clients experience:
- Anxiety or feeling 'on edge' or like they are 'walking on eggshells in relationships'
- People-pleasing or over-functioning
- Emotional overwhelm
- Perfectionism
- Difficulty trusting others
- Persistent self-criticism
You may notice patterns such as overthinking, self-abandonment, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling stuck in relationships that echo earlier experiences. At times, you may feel unsure of your own needs or question your reactions, even when something doesn’t feel right.
Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and intuitive. At the heart of my work is a relational approach, grounded in the belief that meaningful change develops within a safe, trusting, and supportive therapeutic relationship. My practice is trauma-informed and draws on humanistic, psychodynamic, and relational models, allowing therapy to be tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Practice description
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together, we gently identify core issues and make sense of repeating relational or behavioural patterns, exploring how past experiences may be influencing the present. The aim is to develop greater clarity, emotional awareness, and self-understanding, supporting lasting change and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
In addition to ongoing counselling and psychotherapy, I also offer single-session therapy, a focused, one-off 90-minute session designed to help you gain clarity, explore patterns, and identify meaningful next steps. You don’t need to commit to ongoing therapy to benefit; sometimes a single conversation can be enough to shift perspective or create movement. This option can be particularly helpful if you’re feeling stuck, facing a specific challenge, or want space to explore something important.
I work with clients across North London and Hertfordshire, both online and in person. My consulting room is based in Bush Hill Park, Enfield (EN1).
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step, particularly if reaching out for support feels unfamiliar. I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to gently explore what brings you to therapy and whether working together feels like the right fit.
If you are looking for trauma-informed counselling or a focused single-session therapy consultation, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange a complimentary 30-minute consultation and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

My first session
Prior to beginning therapy, I offer a 30-minute initial consultation. This provides an opportunity to discuss what brings the client to therapy, their expectations and hopes for the work, an overview of how I practise, and to consider together whether working together feels like the right fit.
The first session focuses on a collaborative assessment process. This includes exploring the client’s personal history, current and past difficulties, and relevant family-of-origin experiences. The aim is to develop a shared understanding of the client’s experiences, identify core issues, and begin to recognise any repeating behavioural or relational patterns that may be contributing to current challenges.
Together, we clarify the changes the client would like to make and establish realistic, meaningful therapeutic goals, which can be reviewed and adapted as therapy progresses.
