About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling out of alignment with yourself, your body, your relationships, or the life you imagined? Perhaps you鈥檙e navigating transitions that are reshaping your identity or sense of self. I welcome anyone who feels drawn to this work, across all identities and lived experiences.
Many of the people I work with arrive feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or unsure why life suddenly feels harder to navigate. Often these experiences are held not only in thoughts and emotions, but within the body and nervous system, showing up as anxiety, numbness, brain fog, chronic tension, over-functioning, or difficulty fully resting.
Grief is not always connected to bereavement. It can arise through relationship endings, burnout, illness, identity shifts, body changes, neurodivergent masking, or the quiet grief of becoming someone who had to survive rather than fully live.
As a humanistic therapist, I don鈥檛 offer solutions; I believe the wisdom you need is already within you. I provide a space to explore your relationships with yourself and others, reconnect with your body, emotions, and nervous system, and safely explore your story. Beneath it all, there is often a quiet longing for freedom from self-criticism, permission to take up space, and clarity about what truly matters to you.
I came to this work through both professional and personal experience. My background as a dancer and somatic Pilates practitioner gave me a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection and the ways emotions, stress, and life experiences are held in breath, behaviour, and posture. Over time, I became curious about the stories beneath these patterns, which led me to train as a psychotherapist.
Alongside this, navigating my own experiences of belonging, relationship to my body, anxiety, life transitions, grief, and discovering my neurodivergent way of processing has profoundly shaped how I work. I know how powerful it can be to have a space where you feel truly heard and welcomed as you are.
Practice description
I work integratively with the body, mind, and environment, drawing on Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Formative Psychology, and Eco-therapy. I may bring creativity, playfulness, or outdoor sessions in nature into our work, if you wish.
I offer 鈥淲ild Kin鈥, a nature-based therapeutic practice that weaves together psychotherapy, somatic awareness, movement, and connection with the natural world. Through gentle invitations, stillness, wandering, sensing, and reflection, we explore your relationship with yourself, your body, and the environment around you.
This work invites a slower pace and deeper attunement, supporting grief tending, nervous system regulation, self-discovery, and reconnection. We work with the land not simply as a backdrop, but as part of the therapeutic relationship.
Through this practice, we attune to the cycles of living and change within and around us, restoring presence, vitality, and connection.
I work in private practice serving in person sessions in the areas of Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Ditchling, Hassocks, and the surrounding villages. I work remotely for those who wish to connect from further afield.
I offer a warm, compassionate space to explore whatever is happening for you. You don鈥檛 need to know where to start, we can begin exactly where you are. I walk alongside you with respect as we explore your unique story, moving at your pace as you discover what it means to be in relationship with your authentic self.
Our work together is shaped around what feels most supportive for you. You might find comfort in the grounding presence of in-person sessions in my quiet, welcoming therapy space in Ditchling, the flexibility of connecting online, or the gentle rhythm of outdoors in nature.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length, and I tend to work in an open-ended way, offering space for deeper exploration. We regularly review our work together to ensure it continues to meet your needs.
