Availability

I am currently available on Monday mornings through to early evening for both individual and relational/couples counselling. Sessions are offered face to face at present from our Newton Mearns office.  Online sessions are also available.

About me and my therapy practice

My approach to counselling is centred on creating a relaxed, comfortable environment where trust in the therapeutic relationship can naturally develop. I work in a client‑led way, with a person‑centred foundation guiding the pace and direction of our sessions. Through gentle exploration, I aim to listen with empathy and congruence, supporting clients to deepen their self‑awareness, face life’s challenges, and build strength and resilience.

I am a qualified Integrative Therapist, drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities including person‑centred therapy, CBT, Transactional Analysis, and Psychodynamic approaches. Having a broad knowledge of different models allows me to tailor the work to each individual or couple, selecting approaches that best fit their needs and presenting issues. My intention is always to offer a safe, supportive space where meaningful change can take place.

My first session

Before our first session, you will be emailed our counselling contract and assessment forms to complete. These help our counsellors gain an initial understanding of your background, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

In our first session, we will explore the information you’ve shared and begin to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you would like from our work together. You are welcome to share only what feels comfortable, and we will move entirely at your pace.

We will also take time to discuss any questions you may have about the process, our approach, or what to expect going forward. The aim is to create a safe, grounded starting point where you feel informed and supported.

I am welcoming new clients and offer online individual and couples counselling. Sessions are available on weekday evenings from 6.30pm and on Fridays from 2pm.

My practice is client‑led, collaborative, and solution‑focused. I believe therapy should move at the client’s pace, creating space for insight, change, and emotional safety. I am  Integrative relational trained therapist and work across several modalities, including person‑centred therapy, psychodynamics, transactional analysis, CBT, and Gottman‑informed couples therapy, allowing me to adapt the work to best support you.

My practice is grounded in creating a safe, collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships at your own pace. I work in a client‑led and solution‑focused way, helping you move towards clarity and change without pressure.

I am integratively trained and draw on person‑centred therapy, psychodynamic thinking, transactional analysis, CBT, and Gottman‑based couples work. This flexible approach allows me to meet you where you are, whether you’re seeking individual support or relationship counselling.

At present, I offer online sessions. If you would prefer face‑to‑face therapy, we can discuss this together to consider what options may be available. My intention is to offer a warm, attuned space where you can reflect, heal, and grow.
