I currently have availability for new and existing clients from Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please note these are my regular working hours. I do not work on Fridays or weekends. I have no planned time off at the moment, but if this changes, I will update this section and notify affected clients in advance. Please get in touch to arrange a session within these hours.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified, person-centred counsellor with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. I work with both adults and young people (CYP) across a range of emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and OCD.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in an unwavering belief in your potential for growth, even when things feel stuck or overwhelming. I draw primarily on the Person-Centred Approach, alongside principles from Transactional Analysis, to create a safe, confidential space where you can explore whatever you are carrying without fear of judgement.

I have particular experience supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including refugee and migrant communities. I am sensitive to the impact of displacement, identity, language, and systemic stress on mental health. I am able to offer sessions in English, Pashto, or Urdu if that feels more comfortable for you.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and regular supervision, ensuring that the support I offer you is safe, ethical, and informed by current research.

Practice description

I offer online sessions only, providing flexible, confidential support from wherever you feel most at ease. Whether you’re at home, in your car during a break, or travelling, you can connect with me via secure video or phone, no commute, no waiting rooms, just therapy that fits your life.

I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you turn insights into real change. My style is direct when needed, compassionate always, and tailored to your unique goals, whether you’re managing anxiety, navigating life transitions, healing from relational wounds, or simply feeling stuck.

Online therapy works best when you have a private space and a stable internet connection. I’ll guide you through setup, ensure confidentiality, and adjust our pace to what you need each session. You don’t need technical expertise, just a willingness to show up as you are.

Sessions last 50 minutes. I offer a free few-minute video call to test the connection. Let’s make meaningful change from wherever you are.

My first session

In our first online session, I dedicate the initial 15–20 minutes to discuss verbal confidentiality, what it means, where its limits apply (e.g., risk of harm, legal requirements), and how we protect your privacy in a virtual setting. We’ll also go through the contract you signed before our meeting, clarifying any questions you may have about session logistics, cancellations, communication boundaries, and your rights as a client.

This structured start ensures we are fully aligned before therapeutic work begins. After this review, the remainder of our first session (typically 30–35 minutes) focuses on understanding what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any immediate concerns you wish to explore. The fee for the first session is the same as my regular session rate, as it includes both the contractual overview and the beginning of clinical work.

Please ensure you have a private, distraction-free space and a stable internet connection for our video call. The session lasts 50 minutes total, with the first part dedicated to the contract and confidentiality, followed by our getting-started conversation.
