About me and my therapy practice
I am a registered counsellor offering private therapy sessions in Peckham, East Dulwich and online. I provide a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and begin to make sense of whatever may be weighing on you.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to you as an individual, recognising that no two people or experiences are the same. I have supported clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD and domestic abuse, including emotional, physical and financial abuse. I also feel deeply passionate about women’s health and the emotional impact of experiences such as PMS and PMDD.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you are unsure where to begin. My approach is gentle, collaborative and non-judgmental, allowing us to work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so you can ask any questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide whether we feel like the right fit, with no pressure to book afterwards.
Practice description
I work using an integrative approach, which means I tailor therapy to you as an individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. I believe our experiences, relationships and environments shape how we see ourselves and move through the world, and therapy should reflect the uniqueness of each person’s story.
My work is primarily informed by person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. This can involve gently exploring past experiences and relational patterns, while also focusing on what is happening for you in the present. For some clients, particularly those who have experienced abuse or difficult relationships, I may also draw on psychoeducation to help make sense of emotional responses, coping mechanisms and patterns of behaviour.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, and the lasting impact of difficult or distressing life experiences. This includes supporting people affected by narcissistic abuse, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, burnout, and the emotional strain that can come from sustained pressure within corporate or high-stress environments. I also feel passionate about women’s health and understand the emotional impact experiences such as PMS and PMDD can have on daily life and relationships.
Many people I work with feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward. Others come to therapy during periods of change or transition, wanting space to reflect, process their experiences, and regain a sense of clarity, confidence or direction.
You do not need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes it begins simply with the feeling that something no longer feels manageable, sustainable, or quite like you anymore.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to explore what has brought you to therapy. We will talk about what you are hoping for from counselling, any current difficulties you may be experiencing, and whether my way of working feels like the right fit for you.
We will also go through the practical aspects of therapy together, including confidentiality, how sessions work, and the counselling agreement, so that you feel informed and comfortable before moving forward.
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if it is your first time reaching out for support. I aim to offer a calm, welcoming and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly at your own pace, without pressure to share more than feels comfortable.
For those who are unsure about beginning therapy, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call with no obligation to continue afterwards. This is a chance for you to ask questions, hear more about how I work, and get a sense of whether we would work well together.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and charged at my standard rate of £55.
I also offer a limited number of reduced fee spaces at £40 per session for clients in receipt of PIP, Universal Credit or Jobseeker’s Allowance. Reduced fee sessions can be offered for up to 12 sessions, depending on individual circumstances and availability.
If cost feels like a barrier to accessing support, please still feel welcome to get in touch to discuss possible options or alternative sources of support.
