Availability

I currently have availability for new clients.

Sessions are 60 minutes long and held online mostly via zoom.

I usually work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for occasional weekend appointments if needed.

Sessions are typically weekly or fortnightly, depending on what works best for you. Some clients prefer fortnightly sessions to allow more time for reflection and integration between meetings.

If you are interested in working together, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial conversation to see whether the work feels like a good fit.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a pluralistic psychotherapist specialising in Internal Family Systems (IFS).

My practice is queer-affirming, kink-aware, sex-positive, and neurodivergence-informed. I have extensive experience working with autistic and ADHD clients, including people navigating burnout, masking, identity, and complex relational patterns.

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Pluralistic Counselling and trained at Metanoia Institute. I am Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems through the IFS Institute.

Many people come to therapy feeling pulled in different directions inside themselves. One part pushes forward while another holds anxiety, shame, or a harsh inner critic. IFS helps us understand these inner dynamics so the system can shift and life can move again.

Practice description

My practice is pluralistic and grounded primarily in Internal Family Systems (IFS). This means the way we work is collaborative and shaped around what feels most useful for you.

A typical session begins with a short conversation, I will often ask what you would like to focus on that day, and how you might want to do it

Sessions can involve creative or reflective ways of working. Some clients bring journal entries, poetry, music, or meaningful objects to explore in the session. At times we may work with imagery, metaphor, or objects that help represent parts of your internal world.

Some of the work involves IFS, exploring the different parts of you that may hold strong emotions, protective strategies, or internal conflicts.

We might also use sessions for integration or preparation. For example, making sense of an experience that has already happened, or checking in with different parts of you before something challenging coming up in the week.

Each session tends to have its own focus. If we begin to drift away from what you wanted to work on, I will usually pause and check in so we can decide together whether that direction is useful or whether you would prefer to return to the original focus.

The aim is to create a space where you can understand your internal world more clearly and find creative ways of working with it.

My first session

Before beginning therapy I offer a free introductory call (around 15–30 minutes). This gives us a chance to get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.

During this conversation you are welcome to share what brings you to therapy, what you would like to work on, and what has or hasn’t been helpful in past therapy experiences. Some people also use this time to explain how they prefer to be worked with, or anything they feel is important for me to understand about them.

I may ask a few questions about where you currently feel stuck, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping therapy might support you with.

You are also encouraged to ask questions about how I work. I can explain more about Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the way sessions typically unfold, so you have a clear sense of what working together might look like.

Towards the end of the call we usually discuss practicalities such as session frequency (weekly or fortnightly), availability, and fees.

The purpose of this conversation is simply to help you decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you before committing to ongoing sessions.
