Availability
I currently have availability for new clients. I work across time zones and offer sessions at a range of times, including some evenings, to accommodate different schedules and locations. If you're unsure whether my availability suits yours, feel free to reach out and we can explore what might work.
I'll update this section if my availability changes or if I'm taking planned time away.
About me and my therapy practice
I'm a counsellor who works with individuals online. My practice draws on person-centred, psychodynamic, and schema therapy approaches, which in practice means I don't follow a rigid script. I work with what you bring, at a pace that feels right for you.
I'm also a writer, speaker, and elite ultra-endurance athlete, and those parts of my life aren't separate from how I work therapeutically. I understand what it means to live with high expectations of yourself, to push hard, and to sometimes struggle quietly in spaces where you're supposed to look like you have it together. I'm also openly AuDHD, which shapes both my experience and my practice in ways I think matter.
I work with adults on a wide range of concerns, from identity, relationships, self-worth, anxiety, life transitions, and more. I tend to be genuine and direct without being cold, and I'll always try to be honest with you about what I'm noticing.
Practice description
All sessions take place online via video call, which means I'm able to work with clients across the UK and beyond. Sessions are typically 50 minutes and held weekly, though we can discuss what frequency works for your needs, which may change over time.
My practice is informed by person-centred, psychodynamic, and schema therapy frameworks. What that looks like day-to-day is a space where you're not rushed toward a particular outcome, but where we're also not just talking in circles. I'll bring curiosity, honesty, and warmth whilst being honest and open when I think it might help.
I work with a wide range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, self-esteem, identity, burnout, life transitions, and the specific pressures that can come with high-performance or public-facing lives. I'm particularly experienced in working with eating disorder and neurodivergent young adults.
Fees and further practical information are listed in my profile. I'm happy to answer any questions before you book.
My first session
The first session is a chance for us to meet properly and determine whether we're a good fit for each other. It's informal and conversational rather than a formal assessment, though we will cover some important ground: what's brought you to therapy now, a little of your background, and what you're hoping for.
I'll also ask some questions to ensure I can work safely and effectively with you, and I'll be transparent about how I work so you can decide whether my approach feels right.
There's no pressure to commit after a first session. It's as much for you to get a sense of me as it is for me to understand what you're looking for. If we decide to work together, we'll agree on practical arrangements at the end of that session or shortly after.
The first session is charged at my standard rate, although I do offer a free 15-minute consultation.
