About me and my therapy practice
There are times when life can feel hard to meet: when anxiety, uncertainty or old patterns leave you feeling caught, tired or unsure how to take the next step forwards.
Our minds are in constant flux as deeply held beliefs, thoughts, emotions and experiences from the past and in the present, collide with the world around us – be it our partners and families, our work life or the daily pressures we face. At times we don’t always know why we feel or act the way we do and psychodynamic counselling can give you the opportunity to explore.
At Blue Lane Counselling, I offer a thoughtful, confidential space where we can look at what you are experiencing, consider how it has come to shape you, and work together to shift behaviours and thought patterns that are preventing you from living your life fully.
Working together, we will take the time to look beneath the surface to discover the thoughts and emotions that may feel overwhelming or blocked. We will examine how patterns of behaviour that once protected you, may now be preventing you from moving forwards. And together we will work towards understanding how influences from the past and present shape your life as we build greater self-awareness and resilience.
