About me and my therapy practice
Hello,
You may have found your way here because something feels stuck, unclear, or not quite right. Perhaps there鈥檚 a sense that you want change or growth, but you鈥檙e finding it difficult to move things forward on your own.
Maybe you鈥檝e been hurt, feel alone, or are simply carrying something that feels too heavy to hold by yourself. Therapy can offer a space where we gently explore what鈥檚 going on for you and begin to make sense of your inner world together鈥攑aying attention to what matters most to you.
It鈥檚 important to me that you feel safe to be fully yourself here. A space where you can think, feel, laugh, question, disagree, and be met with openness and respect. I鈥檓 not here to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you as a trained professional, supporting you in your own process.
I will take time to understand your experience from your perspective, listening closely and reflecting what I notice in a way that may support insight and growth. My approach is active and engaged, always guided by what feels safe and manageable for you.
For me, therapy is not about fitting into an idea of 鈥減ositive mental health.鈥 It鈥檚 about coming to understand your story more deeply and supporting you to feel more connected to your own voice, choices, and direction. Over time, this can help you feel more grounded and present as the main character in your own life, carrying that sense of clarity and empowerment beyond our work together.
Practice description
I work as an integrative practitioner meaning I draw from a range of different model鈥檚 and approaches, tailoring them to what feels most helpful for you. Rather than following a fixed method, I am guided by your individual needs first, and adapt my way of working accordingly.
A key focus of my practice is the therapeutic relationship itself, which I believe can be deeply healing in its own right. I place importance on relational work, paying attention to what is happening between us as part of the therapeutic process.
I currently offer online therapy sessions within a safe, confidential, and supportive space, where you are welcome to bring whatever feels important to you. I work with a range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional or relational difficulties, and have experience across a broad spectrum of client needs.
Therapy with me is a space for exploration and understanding. You do not need to have the 鈥渞ight鈥 words or know exactly what you want to talk about. We can begin wherever feels most natural鈥攚hether that is something specific, or a more general sense of feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain.
My first session
If you are interested in working with me, you are welcome to get in touch via email. I offer an initial free telephone consultation (up to one hour), which gives us the opportunity to briefly explore what has brought you to therapy and what you are hoping for from the process. It also allows you to get a sense of me as a therapist, and for me to begin understanding how I might best support you.
If we decide to work together, I will send you a contract and a personal information form to complete and review. In our first session, we will go through the contract together and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We will then begin exploring what feels most important for you at that time and start the therapeutic work from there.
I work in a structured yet flexible way, and I usually offer a review after around three months so we can reflect on how things are going and whether the work is meeting your needs. I will also always let you know in advance of any planned breaks.
Sessions are held online via a secure platform, where all links/information are all accessed in one place. I will guide you through how to use this at the beginning of our work together.
