About me and my therapy practice
Experience therapy in a supportive, open space where you can speak freely, feel heard, and work on meaningful change at your own pace. Together, we will build your resilience and develop practical strategies for emotional wellbeing.
I work from an integrative approach grounded in person-centred values of empathy, respect, and collaboration. To support your unique needs, I draw on a rich toolkit of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, alongside relational approaches like Gestalt and Transactional Analysis.
Where appropriate, we can also integrate structured behavioural techniques such as relaxation strategies, assertiveness training, social skills development, and habit-based interventions.
My approach is always tailored to you rather than a fixed method. We will work collaboratively and with the belief that meaningful change becomes possible when we begin to understand both your experiences and your strengths more clearly.
I hold an MSc in Counselling and am an MÌÇÐĹÙÍø Registered Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Practice description
I provide a warm, inclusive, and confidential environment where you can explore anything affecting your emotional wellbeing, without fear of judgment. Therapy is a safe space to untangle your experiences, break unhelpful cycles, and build practical coping strategies to support emotional balance and day-to-day life.
I support adults and young people facing:
- Anxiety (including generalised anxiety and panic)
- Phobias
- Mild to moderate mood disorders
- Stress or adjustment difficulties
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Low self-esteem
- Experiences of separation or break-ups
- Work-related stress
- Somatic symptoms
My practice is culturally sensitive and affirming, drawing from my experience with clients from a variety of cultural, social, and personal backgrounds.
All sessions are delivered online for your comfort and convenience.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel daunting, so I offer a free 15-minute introductory call to learn what brings you to therapy and answer any questions you have. This helps us decide together if we’re a good fit.
If you choose to continue, your first full session is focused on your priorities, concerns, and hopes for therapy. There is absolutely no obligation to carry on beyond this session-it is entirely up to you.
