About me and my therapy practice

Life can be difficult at times. Most of us will experience moments where we feel overwhelmed, stuck, lost, or not sure what to do next. I know from my own experiences that life doesn't always go to plan, and sometimes we need time to stop, reflect, and make sense of what's happening.

My aim isn't to tell you how to live your life, or offer you quick fixes. Instead, I hope to help you understand yourself better, what has happened to you, and how you have ended up where you are.

From there we can explore what really matters to you, what things give your life meaning and purpose, and how we can work towards those things.

I have experience supporting adults and children through bereavement, anxiety, depression, as well as many other difficult situations. Sometimes that involves simply having a conversation. Other times I use various creative approaches that aim to bring new understanding and awareness to those experiences that are hard to put into words.

Above all I try to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental place where you can talk freely about the things that matter most.

Practice description

Finding the Right Fit

No two people are the same, and because of that, I don't believe there's a single way that counselling should be done. I also understand that not every counsellor is a good match for every person. The relationship between counsellor and client is often one of the most important aspects of counselling, and finding someone you can trust is an essential part of the process.

Working Together

Some people come to counselling with a clear idea of what to talk about. Others come feeling confused, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. Both are completely fine. Counselling isn't about having all the answers. Sometimes it simply starts with having a conversation and making sense of what has happened in your life.

Finding Your Way Forward

Together, we can explore what has happened to you, how that impacts your life. We can look at what matters most to you and what gives your life meaning and purpose. We can then work towards those things at a pace that feels right for you.
