Availability
I currently have private practice availability for 50 minute online counselling and psychotherapy sessions on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 5pm.
However please do get in touch as timings and schedules can shift so best to reach out to me, even if the above doesn't work and we can see what we can make possible.
About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected — from ourselves, from others, or from the life we hoped we'd be living. You may be struggling with anxiety, loss, relationships, self-doubt, trauma, a major life change, or perhaps just a sense that something doesn't feel quite right. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.
I offer a warm, safe and collaborative space where you can talk openly and be met with curiosity rather than judgement. I believe therapy is not about being fixed but about being understood. Together we can explore your experiences, make sense of patterns that may have developed over time, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Practice description
My approach is integrative, relational and trauma-informed, drawing on attachment, psychodynamic and contemporary psychotherapy perspectives. At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to explore ourselves honestly and supported enough to try something different.
I graduated with Distinction from the Metanoia Institute and am a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with both UKCP and ÌÇÐĹÙÍø. I am committed to offering an inclusive, ethical and culturally sensitive practice where your unique experiences, identity and perspective are valued and respected.
My first session
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely natural to feel uncertain, nervous, or unsure about where to start. My aim is to offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and be met with compassion, curiosity and respect.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and to explore what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We can talk about any challenges you are facing, what you hope to gain from counselling, and whether my way of working feels right for you. There is no expectation to share everything straight away – we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
We will also discuss the practical aspects of working together, including confidentiality, how sessions are structured, and the counselling agreement, so that you feel informed, safe and able to make a decision about whether you would like to continue.
If you are unsure about starting therapy, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call with no obligation. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions, find out more about how I work, and get a sense of whether I am the right therapist for you. Finding someone you feel comfortable with is an important part of the therapeutic process.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and are charged at my standard rate of £80 per session.
I also offer a limited number of reduced-fee spaces for clients receiving PIP, Universal Credit or Jobseeker’s Allowance. These spaces are available for up to 12 sessions, depending on individual circumstances and availability.
If the cost of therapy feels like a barrier, please do still get in touch. We can explore what support may be available and discuss alternative options where appropriate. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to access meaningful support when they need it.
