Availability

I currently have availability for new clients and offer sessions both online and in person in Zurich.

Appointments are available on weekdays, with a limited number of evening appointments.

If I am unable to offer a suitable appointment immediately, I can add you to my waiting list and will contact you as soon as a space becomes available.

I aim to respond to enquiries within one working day. If you contact me outside my working hours, over the weekend, or during annual leave, I will reply as soon as possible on my return.

If I am away for an extended period, this will be noted here and discussed with existing clients in advance to ensure continuity of care where possible.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer counselling for adults (18+) in English, both online and in person, in Zurich.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and relational. I believe lasting change comes from understanding not only *what* is happening, but *why* certain emotional or relationship patterns keep repeating.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable and self-aware, yet still find themselves feeling stuck. They may struggle with anxiety, self-criticism, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, or a persistent sense that something isn't shifting despite understanding themselves intellectually.

Drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory and trauma-informed practice, I help clients explore thoughts, emotions, bodily experiences and the different parts of themselves with curiosity rather than judgment.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked for over a decade in data and insight roles. My analytical background helps me recognise patterns while remaining deeply attentive to each person's unique experience.

I aim to create a space where you don't have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or hide the parts of yourself that feel difficult or contradictory. Together, we work at a pace that feels safe while gently supporting meaningful and lasting change.

Practice description

Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. Rather than offering advice or quick fixes, I work alongside you to better understand your inner world, relationships and emotional experiences.

Our work may include exploring recurring relationship patterns, developing emotional awareness, working with the mind-body connection, understanding protective coping strategies, and strengthening your capacity for self-compassion and emotional regulation.

I have particular experience working with:

• Anxiety and stress

• Relationship and attachment difficulties

• Shame, self-worth and the inner critic

• Perfectionism and people-pleasing

• Emotional sensitivity and overwhelm

• Identity, belonging and life transitions

• Grief and loss

• Sexuality, intimacy and desire

I welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and identities and offer an LGBTQ+ affirming, inclusive therapeutic space.

Sessions are available online or in person in Zurich.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute introductory phone or online call before booking your first session. This allows us to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

During our first full session, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, your current concerns, any relevant background, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to tell your whole story straight away. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work and whether you feel comfortable with me. A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful therapy, so it's important that you feel able to ask questions and decide whether I'm the right therapist for you.

If I believe another practitioner would be better suited to your needs, I will discuss this openly and, where possible, help you find an appropriate referral.
