About me and my therapy practice
I am Joanne (Jo), an MÌÇÐĹÙÍø-accredited member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø, a Psychotherapist and Counsellor, and a certified Life Coach. I offer an integrative approach and work with individual adults and young people to address emotional issues and challenges.
My chosen area of work
I specialise in issues regarding relationship struggles, divorce, separation, step-parenting and family dynamics. My work is bespoke, ranging from one-off solution-based therapy and counselling sessions to fully tailored annual guidance and help.
The relationship
I aim to support you in a safe, confidential, non-judgmental way as you make informed, sensible decisions about your life. I'll help you explore your thoughts and feelings and move forward with confidence.
Practice description
My qualifications
I am a fully qualified transpersonal psychotherapist and transformational life coach. I completed a Four-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative and Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London, along with an accredited Diploma in Transformative Coaching with Animas in London.
My approach
The integrative therapy offered will be completely bespoke to your situation – all communication will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
Therapy normally takes place online or by phone call. I do offer longer sessions which can involve London-based walk-and-talk therapy. I also offer bespoke in-person sessions taking place before attending family court.
My experience with divorce and separation
Alongside my practice, I also work within a Family Law Clinic, offering emotional support and therapy/coaching to clinic clients. I have extensive experience working alongside family law legal professionals, offering emotional and practical support for issues arising from separation, divorce, co-parenting, loneliness, and attending court. I can offer a tailored, emotionally supportive approach to attending family court.
My first session
Regular sessions are normally fifty minutes or in blocks of fifty-minute therapeutic hours.
Free introductory session
I offer a free 30-minute online meeting or phone call to discuss what brought you to therapy, what you feel you need, what you want to achieve, and how I can help.
From this initial call, we can decide if further therapy would be beneficial, or I can signpost you to alternative help.
