About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor offering online counselling to adults across the UK.
Before training as a counsellor, I spent many years working in business and high-pressure professional environments. This experience gives me an understanding of the demands, responsibilities and challenges many people face in modern life, particularly those who appear capable and successful on the outside while struggling internally.
My counselling training integrates humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural approaches, allowing me to adapt my work to the individual rather than applying a single model to everyone. Alongside my counselling qualification, I hold an MSc in Psychology and have undertaken substantial additional training in trauma-informed practice.
I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, trauma, attachment-related issues and significant life transitions.
At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change begins within a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. I offer a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, deepen your understanding of yourself and develop new ways of relating to life's challenges.
I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds and life stages and aim to create an environment where you feel genuinely heard, respected and understood.
Practice description
I offer one-to-one online counselling sessions for adults.
My approach is collaborative and relational. I see therapy as a process of working together to understand what has shaped your experiences, how those experiences may be affecting you in the present, and what might support lasting change.
Depending on your needs, our work may involve exploring current difficulties, patterns in relationships, emotional responses, life events, past experiences or the beliefs you hold about yourself and others. Some clients come with a clear issue they would like to address, while others arrive with a more general sense that something does not feel right. Both are welcome.
I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-informed perspectives. This allows me to tailor therapy to the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a particular model.
Clients often describe valuing a space where they can slow down, reflect more deeply and speak openly without fear of judgement. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to support you in developing greater awareness, understanding and choice in your life.
Sessions take place online or face-to-face in London. I work in accordance with the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Ethical Framework and engage in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
