About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of your next steps, I can provide an opportunity to gain insight, develop self-understanding, and find new ways of moving forward.

As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach to the unique needs of each client. I believe that every person has their own story, strengths, and way of experiencing the world, and I work collaboratively to help you make sense of what is happening in your life.

Alongside talking therapy, I have a particular interest in body psychotherapy and somatic approaches. Where appropriate and if you feel comfortable, we may explore the connection between your emotions and physical experience. Developing awareness of bodily sensations can sometimes help us understand patterns of stress, anxiety, and emotional responses more deeply, supporting greater self-awareness and emotional wellbeing.

I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, low self-esteem, low self-worth, and feelings of being stuck or disconnected. I am experienced in working with ME/CFS and AuADHD. I also can support clients through relationship difficulties, divorce, recovery from addiction, and the impact of and recovery from emotionally abusive or unhealthy relationship dynamics.

At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship. My aim is to offer a compassionate, accepting environment where you feel heard, understood, and valued. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, identify your strengths, and work towards a greater sense of balance, resilience, and wellbeing.
