About me and my therapy practice
I offer online counselling and psychotherapy to adults worldwide, with flexible appointments across time zones.
I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, identity, and emotional wellbeing. Many clients also bring relational questions about struggles with intimacy/sexuality, which can be explored in our sessions as well.
I understand the unique challenges of building a life across cultures. I enjoy working with internationally minded clients and expats, helping them find a sense of home within themselves while navigating change, belonging, and identity.
I hold a Master's degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Derby, am a Registered Member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø, and hold certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
Practice description
As an integrative therapist, I have the flexibility to tailor work to the needs of the individual. I draw from several frameworks like psychodynamic and attachment theory, person-centred therapy, existential, CBT, ACT, and more.
Lives are complex, and I believe there are multiple paths into every issue. Meaningful change can come from both understanding ourselves more deeply and developing practical ways of navigating life's challenges. Together, we'll explore the patterns, relationships, emotions, and experiences that shape your life, while working toward the changes you want to make.
I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely understood, supported, and curious. Our work is kind, confidential, inclusive, and grounded in respect for each client's unique experiences and background.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation before our first session. This gives us an opportunity to hear each other's voices, discuss what brings you to therapy, and get a sense of how we might work together. If you prefer, I'm also happy to answer initial questions via email.
Our first few sessions will help us build an understanding of your experiences, goals, and the wider context of your life. From there, we can think together about how best to structure our work so it feels well-paced, and meaningful for you.
If you have any questions about my practice or about psychotherapy more generally, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
