About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome.
Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, and you might be coming here feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply needing a space where you can talk openly. Whatever has brought you here, you are very welcome.
I offer Person-Centred counselling, which means our sessions focus on you — your experiences, your feelings, and what matters most in your life. I believe that each person has the capacity for growth and change when they are given the right environment: one that is safe, supportive, and free from judgement.
Practice description
My aim is to provide a warm and compassionate space where you can explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace. You won’t be told what to do or judged for how you feel. Instead, I will walk alongside you, listening carefully and helping you understand yourself more deeply so that you can move towards the changes you want in your life.
People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, life changes, or simply feeling lost or disconnected. Sometimes there isn’t a clear reason at all — just a sense that things don’t feel quite right. All of these experiences are valid and worth exploring.
I work in a collaborative way, building a trusting relationship where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted just as you are. Many people find that having a space dedicated entirely to them can bring clarity, relief, and a greater sense of self-understanding.
I offer counselling online and in person, providing a calm and confidential space where you can talk freely about whatever feels important to you.
If you are considering counselling and wondering whether it might help, you are very welcome to get in touch. We can arrange an initial conversation to see if working together feels right for you.
You don’t have to face things alone.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what has brought you to counselling. We will talk about what you would like support with, your hopes for counselling, and any questions or concerns you may have.
I will explain how I work, discuss confidentiality and it's limits, and give you the opportunity to decide whether I feel like the right Counsellor for you. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. We will work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
My aim is to provide a warm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood and supported.
