About me and my therapy practice

Many people come to therapy carrying a great deal internally — often coping well on the surface while navigating something much harder beneath it. Some feel overwhelmed by relationships or family dynamics. Others are living with the weight of earlier experiences, grief, loss or a growing sense of disconnection from themselves or others. For some, it simply begins with a feeling that something isn’t quite right.

I am a registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø (MÌÇÐĹÙÍø) and an integrative psychotherapist in training with over 240 supervised clinical hours. Over the past decade, working closely with families and complex relational systems, I developed a deep interest in how people adapt within difficult relationships and family dynamics — and how those patterns can continue to shape the way we feel, relate and see ourselves long after the circumstances that created them have changed.

I work integratively, meaning I adapt therapy to suit your individual needs rather than following a fixed model. Together we can explore how earlier experiences and relationships may be influencing the way you feel and respond today, and begin to create greater understanding, choice and ease.

Practice description

Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly at a consistent time in person in Cambridge. I work integratively, meaning I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most useful for you. This might include exploring patterns in relationships and early experiences, paying attention to how things show up in the body, or simply having space to think things through. I aim to offer a calm, containing space where you don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call before we begin, so we can get a sense of whether working together feels right. There’s no obligation.

Before your first session, I’ll ask you to complete a short intake form. This covers what’s bringing you to therapy, a brief wellbeing check-in, and a few gentle questions about emotional safety and support. It helps me come prepared and means we can use the first session to have a real conversation rather than covering basics from scratch.

The first session itself is a relaxed discussion based on what you’ve shared. We’ll explore what’s brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and begin to get a sense of how we might work together. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions about the process. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — it’s simply a starting point.
