About me and my therapy practice
Play Therapist for Children | Norwich
Hello, I'm Kirsty, a Play Therapist providing a safe, accepting and nurturing space where children can express themselves, process experiences and work through emotional difficulties through play.
Children often communicate their thoughts and feelings through play rather than words. Play therapy offers a developmentally appropriate way for children to explore emotions, relationships, worries and life experiences in a supportive therapeutic environment.
Sessions are child-led and use a range of creative and play-based materials, including art, sandtray, storytelling, imaginative play, clay and sensory resources. Through the therapeutic relationship and the language of play, children can develop emotional understanding, resilience, confidence and healthier ways of coping.
I have over 20 years' experience working with babies, children and families, and my practice is trauma-informed, attachment-aware and neurodiversity-affirming. I work with children experiencing anxiety, emotional difficulties, behavioural concerns, low self-esteem, family changes, school-related challenges, peer relationship difficulties, trauma and developmental differences including ADHD and autism.
My aim is to provide a calm, welcoming space where children feel understood, valued and accepted just as they are.
Sessions take place in purposefully designed therapy rooms at Carrow House, Norwich. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your child's needs and whether play therapy may be appropriate.

About me and my therapy practice
Creative Therapist for Adults | Norwich
I'm Kirsty, a Creative Therapist offering a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore emotions, life experiences, relationships, and personal challenges at your own pace.
Sometimes it can be difficult to find the right words for what we are feeling. Creative therapy offers alternative ways of exploring thoughts and emotions through approaches such as art, clay, sandtray, creative materials and reflective conversation. No artistic experience or ability is needed. The focus is on expression, self-understanding and emotional wellbeing rather than creating artwork.
My approach is relational, creative and client-led. I believe that creativity can help us make sense of experiences, deepen self-awareness, and discover new ways of coping and connecting with ourselves and others. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and may combine creative exploration with talking therapy.
I am trauma-informed, neurodiversity-allied, and draw on person-centred, psychodynamic, attachment-based and relational approaches. I have over 20 years' experience supporting babies, children and adults who have experienced a wide range of life challenges.
I work with issues including anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, domestic abuse, life transitions, parenting challenges, and emotional overwhelm.
I offer sessions in beautiful, purposefully designed therapy rooms at Carrow House, Norwich. A free 15-minute introductory phone call is available to discuss how therapy may help.
