About me and my therapy practice
I offer therapy for adults who are looking for support through life's challenges, whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of someone to talk to.
As an integrative counsellor, I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of my work. I support adults with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and burnout, tailoring my approach to your individual needs in a warm, trusting space where you can move at your own pace.
Whether you're taking your first step into therapy or returning after previous counselling, you're welcome here. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space, informed by both professional training and lived experience of neurodiversity, burnout, and anxiety. Online sessions allow you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I work in accordance with their ethical framework ensuring that I provide a safe and professional service for every client.
Practice description
Therapy isn't about having all the answers or trying to 'fix' who you are. It's about creating space to explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. Together, we can make sense of difficult thoughts and emotions, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
My role is to walk alongside you as you explore whatever feels important, offering support, challenge, and reflection in a way that helps you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and move towards the changes you want to make.
My first session
Starting counselling can feel like a big step. I offer an initial free 15 minute consultation for us to talk about what has brought you here and what you hope to gain from therapy. It is also an opportunity for us to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
The relationship between counsellor and client is an important part of the process, so I want you to feel comfortable, listened to, and able to decide whether I am the right person to support you on your journey.
If you feel we might be the right fit, or if you'd simply like to find out more, I'd love to hear from you. You're welcome to get in touch by email, text, or phone for a friendly, no-pressure chat. There's absolutely no obligation to book an appointment—it's simply an opportunity to ask any questions and see whether counselling with me feels right for you.
