I work flexibly and have a permanent clinic in Headingley, Leeds on a Thursday. I predominately work Monday - Thursday at different times so feel free to contact me to set up a time that works for us both.

I am due to be away from work on Monday 24th August - 31st August and Monday 14th September - 17th September

About me and my therapy practice

I work in an integrative, relational way that adapts to what you need rather than following a rigid method. My role is to help you understand what’s happening in your inner world, make sense of the pressures around you, and find approaches that genuinely support your wellbeing. I bring together counselling, coaching, neurodiversity affirming practice, and lived experience to offer support that is both reflective and practical.

Our sessions begin with what feels most present for you. We explore your thoughts, emotions, patterns, and the contexts that shape them. I pay close attention to how you experience things in your body and mind, and we use that information to guide the work. Sometimes this means slowing down and creating space for feelings that have been pushed aside; other times it means building strategies for regulation, communication, or navigating daily demands.

I offer steady presence, clear thinking, and gentle challenge when it helps you move forward. We work collaboratively, noticing what’s shifting, what’s stuck, and what might support change. I aim to help you develop insight, strengthen your internal resources, and feel more able to meet life with clarity and steadiness.

My approach suits people who want thoughtful, grounded support, whether you’re managing neurodivergence, parenting pressures, workplace strain, relationship dynamics, or a general sense of overload. The work is paced with you, centred on what matters, and designed to help you feel more anchored and capable in your everyday life.

Practice description

I offer a calm, grounded space for people carrying a lot emotionally, mentally, or practically. My practice is shaped by integrative counselling, coaching, and lived experience of  neurodiversity. Clients often come to me when they feel overwhelmed, burnt out, stuck in old patterns, or tired of coping alone. Many are neurodivergent adults, parents, or people balancing demanding roles who want support that is both gentle and genuinely useful.

My approach is collaborative and shame‑free. I blend psychological theory with practical tools that help you understand your patterns, regulate more effectively, and make changes that feel possible in real life. I work at your pace, with curiosity, compassion, and clarity.

Sessions with me are steady, spacious, and focused on what matters most to you. Some clients want structured guidance; others need a reflective space to untangle what’s going on internally. I adapt to your needs, offering a mix of insight, grounding strategies, and supportive challenge when it’s helpful. My aim is to help you feel more resourced, more understood, and more able to move forward.

Whether you’re navigating neurodivergence, parenting pressures, relationship strain, workplace stress, or a general sense of overload, you can expect a thoughtful, relational, and practical therapeutic experience

My first session

Your first session is a gentle introduction to working together. It’s a chance for you to arrive, settle, and get a feel for whether my approach suits you. I don’t rush this process or expect you to share everything at once. Instead, we take time to understand what brings you here, what you’re carrying, and what you hope might change.

Before the session, I send a short agreement form so I can hold the essentials of your situation with care. This isn’t a clinical assessment; it simply helps us begin with clarity and reduces the pressure on you to remember details in the moment. In the session itself, we explore your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable. You’re welcome to talk freely, pause, ask questions, or take things slowly.

We look at what’s happening for you right now, emotionally, practically, and relationally and begin to identify the themes we may work with. I’ll share initial reflections and check in with you about what feels most important. Some people use the first session to offload; others prefer to map out what they want from therapy. Both are completely fine.

I offer the same rate for the first session as for ongoing work. There’s no obligation to continue afterwards; you can take time to decide whether it feels like the right fit. My aim is for you to leave the session feeling heard, steadier, and clearer about what support might look like.
