I'm Lucy, an Integrative Counsellor (CBT, Psychodynamic and Person-centred) specialising in addiction, abuse and trauma. I also work with a range of concerns including anxiety, low mood/ depression, self-esteem, BPD/EUPD, ADHD, relationship difficulties and emotional overwhelm.
My aim is simple: to meet you where you are. I want you to feel heard, seen and understood, without judgement and without pressure to be anything other than yourself.
Together, we can explore what's happening for you, make sense of your experiences, and begin to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Whether you're navigating something from the past or struggling with something in the present, therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect and move towards meaningful change.
Practice description
I offer a free 30-minute intro call online so you can ask questions and see whether working together feels right for you.
Sessions are available online across the UK and in person in Upper Basildon near Pangbourne.
My first session
Our first session builds on from our intro call; it allows us more time to talk in depth about how you feeling, what is bringing you to therapy now and how I can support you within the therapy room.
Counselling can feel daunting and overwhelming so our first session allows us the opportunity to take things at your pace and to begin our therapeutic alliance.
