About me and my therapy practice
I am a highly experienced, registered and accredited integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor based in Stourbridge. I offer integrative counselling and psychotherapy in person and online, supporting adults with a wide range of emotional, psychological and physical health difficulties.
My core training is Humanistic, CBT and Psychodynamic. I have also undertaken further training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
My therapeutic approach is very much focused on you and working at your pace. Together, we can look at tools and strategies from a range of therapeutic approaches, choosing what feels best suited to your needs.
Practice description
I have extensive experience of supporting people through many different emotional and psychological difficulties, and I believe in the importance of building genuine and transparent relationships, working at relational depth to help facilitate change.
The issues I work with are many and varied, but clients’ goals are often fundamentally about wanting to feel better and live a more enriched and fuller life. How this is achieved, and the therapeutic strategies we use, will be unique and individual to every client.
I believe in working from an authentic and transparent standpoint, connecting with people on a meaningful level, with a genuine understanding of some of the difficulties they may be facing. My therapeutic practice focuses on enabling you to work through the issues that may be holding you back and move towards a brighter future.
I support adults with issues including anxiety, stress, bereavement, depression and low mood, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, cancer, chronic illness, health-related issues and long-term physical health conditions.

Availability
I currently have availability to take on new supervisees and offer both daytime and evening sessions.About me and my therapy practice
Supervision is a collaborative process which allows counsellors and psychotherapists the space to reflect on their work, clinical practice and continuing professional development, helping to support safe, ethical and competent practice.
I offer clinical supervision in Stourbridge and online across the UK for trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists.
My wider experience in integrative counselling and psychotherapy helps inform my supervision practice, while keeping the focus on each supervisee’s own client work, development and professional needs.
My supervision style is warm, open and supportive, with a commitment to building an authentic and meaningful supervisory relationship where therapists feel safe, respected, heard and supported to share their clinical work.
Practice description
My supervision practice focuses on:
Client wellbeing: Ensuring that the therapy given to clients meets professional and ethical standards.
Skills development: Supporting therapists to enhance their therapeutic skills, case formulation and intervention strategies.
Professional identity: Supporting therapists’ growth as reflective, competent and autonomous practitioners.
Accountability: Providing oversight and guidance where necessary, helping clinical practice align with ethical and legal obligations.
Emotional support: Offering a safe space to process emotional reactions, promote self-care, identify potential signs of burnout and reduce isolation, particularly when working in private practice.
My first session
Your first supervision session with me at WJH Therapy is a calm, collaborative space where we explore your professional needs, current caseload and the foundations of your therapeutic identity.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, I offer a grounded, relational approach which supports you to work safely, ethically and with confidence.
In this initial meeting, we look at what brings you to supervision, your modality, your practice setting (NHS, private practice, EAP or trainee placement) and discuss your preferred supervision style.
My aim is to create a supportive, non‑judgemental environment where you feel able to think reflectively about your work, recognise strengths and explore challenges with compassion. Together we can identify what will help you feel most resourced and professionally held.
By the end of our first session, we will have an agreed clear supervision contract and a shared understanding of how we will work together. My intention is always to offer supervision that is reflective, ethical, attuned and genuinely supportive of you as a practitioner.
