About me and my therapy practice
As a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-accredited psychotherapist, and HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist, my work is guided by a genuine passion for helping others.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with your confidence or self-esteem, or finding your relationships challenging?
In my private practice, I use an integrative approach—drawing from a variety of therapeutic methods, including art psychotherapy—so that our sessions can be tailored to your unique needs. I’ve also have experience working within specialist mental health services, where I’ve supported people facing a wide range of emotional challenges. My experience has taught me the importance of listening deeply and providing a compassionate space for you to explore what matters most.
Many people turn to therapy when their emotional life or relationships become difficult to navigate. This may involve grappling with confusing emotions, behavioural patterns that seem hard to break, persistent relationship challenges, or simply a sense of being stuck.
Practice description
How We Can Work Together:
When we work together, my priority is to help you address the challenges that are most pressing for you right now. We'll focus on practical ways to make daily life easier and, if you feel comfortable, we can gently explore deeper patterns that may be affecting your relationships, self-worth, and sense of wellbeing. Our sessions are flexible—whether you prefer short-term support or a longer journey, I’ll be with you every step until you feel happier and more at ease within yourself.
Taking the First Step:
I know from personal experience that reaching out for support can feel daunting. It takes courage to make that first move, and I admire anyone who decides to take it. Having walked the path of counselling myself, I truly understand the vulnerability and hope involved. If you feel ready, I warmly invite you to get in touch—together, we can explore how counselling might support you.
A Safe and Supportive Space:
In our sessions, you will find a warm, accepting environment where you can share your story at your own pace. I will always respect your boundaries and offer you complete safety as you explore your thoughts and feelings. My aim is for you to feel heard, valued, and supported, every step of the way.
My first session
Free 30 minute on-line session.
I want you to feel comfortable talking with me. This free session will help you decide whether I am the right therapist for you.
Everyone needs something different in counselling. Some people need compassion and empathy to find the right way for themselves, others may need grounding techniques, suggestions and direction. Whatever you need, we can discuss how counselling can proceed and I can offer my experience and thoughts.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you seeking guidance and support from a supervisor as you progress in your counselling or Art Psychotherapy work?
Someone who gets what you need, knows where you’re at with your experience, and can provide what you need to develop?
I am an experienced supervisor who will assess your individual needs by recognising where you are in your professional journey. I provide a supportive and reflective space that enhances your competence, skills, and emotional wellbeing.
I hope, you will feel safe to bring your anxieties, uncertainties, tribulations and embarrassing moments to supervision. I will encourage self reflection, critical thinking and work collaboratively with you to support you.
I work with counsellors and Art Therapists at all levels:
With students to reassure and encourage understanding and growth as a new counsellor. Exploring professional practice, skills, ethical safety, counter-transference and supporting with course completion.
For newly qualified counsellors ongoing development of skills, theoretical understanding, and competence is essential. Highlighting areas for CPD, addressing issues of transference, working through feelings of being ‘stuck’, and navigating dilemmas are part of our work. Also exploring areas of work within a market of declining opportunities.
With experienced counsellors and supervisors who wish to develop their skills and reflect upon their clients within a collaborative and more challenging environment. Offering valuable insights, different perspectives, supporting personal development and self-care.
Supervision should be enjoyable, challenging, educational but most important a place to feel safe to admit to difficulties and failings when we might hide what's often most important for fear of being judged or misunderstood.
Practice description
I am an integrative counsellor, art psychotherapist and supervisor, with over 10 years of experience in therapeutic work. Primarily I have worked in private practice with many different emotional issues and life events, in particular anxiety, depression, trauma OCD, loss, bereavement, relationship, work-related stress.
I have been a qualified supervisor since 2021 and work with a developmental and Seven-Eyed Model (Hawkins and Shohet, 2012). This is a rich and integrative framework that allows us to explore the relationships between the client, you, (the counsellor) and me, (the supervisor). We explore the complex and fascinating world of counselling; the unexpressed issues, "the dance", the mirroring, the transference and so much else.
My aim is to enhance your practice and the continued well-being of clients. I want you to feel safe to share your anxieties, insecurities, and trust that you'll be treated with understanding, compassion and support.
My first session
I am happy to offer a free 30 minute appointment where you will have the opportunity to meet me, ask questions and explore working together.
