Practice description
My Therapeutic Approach: I am an Integrative Therapist, drawing upon a range of psychotherapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to each client's individual needs. Integrative therapy combines techniques and theories from different schools of psychological thought and research, creating a flexible, personalised, and inclusive approach to therapy.
An integrative approach can be beneficial in addressing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating disorders, trauma, relationship issues, and personality disorders. I utilise evidence-based therapeutic interventions and adapt them to meet the specific needs of each individual.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour that may be contributing to emotional distress. Many of these beliefs and behaviours develop over time and can negatively affect how individuals perceive themselves, others, and the world around them.
Through CBT, clients learn to recognise these patterns, develop healthier ways of thinking, and make positive changes that support emotional wellbeing. This process can help individuals build resilience, increase self-awareness, and make empowered choices that lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life.
This approach can be particularly effective for individuals seeking greater self-understanding and long-term emotional growth. Psychodynamic therapy can help address a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and stress-related conditions.
A key aspect of therapy is creating a safe and supportive space where all feelings can be explored and understood, including those that may feel uncomfortable or difficult to discuss. Through increased self-awareness and understanding, clients are empowered to make meaningful changes that align with their values, improve emotional wellbeing, and support a healthier, more balanced life.
