About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling in your relationships, your mental health, or simply with the weight of everyday life? Perhaps communication has broken down with loved ones, friends or work colleagues, or anxiety is affecting how you show up in life, or you are carrying grief and feeling low about your self or life in general.
I am an Accredited psychotherapist and counsellor based in the city of Worcester. I work with adults and couples online, over the phone and face to face. I have been supporting people through some of life’s most challenging moments since 2018.
I work as a holistic integrative therapist, which means I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. I offer a bespoke experience to each client I work with. I work with both the mind and the body and draw from a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to what you need.
Practice description
My journey into psychotherapy was a a personal one after encountering many of life’s challenges. Following my own counselling experience I made the decision to change careers and follow a passion which continues to grow stronger with every client I meet. Helping people understand themselves more deeply and live with greater connection, ease and authenticity is a calling I feel privileged to answer every day.
I work with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, abuse, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties and everything else in between. I have a particular interest in the psychosexual aspects of relationships - the ways in which intimacy, sexuality and connection (or disconnection) can sit at the heart of how we relate to ourselves and others. I continue to upskill in this area.
When working with me you can expect to encounter a non-judgement space, I work at your pace and with warmth and humility.
My first session
With any new enquires I will have a quick chat with you over the phone and take some brief details about your issues and explain how I work. You are welcome to ask me any questions.
Research tells us irrespective of the therapist’s training its the relationship between the client and therapist which makes counselling work - therefore you need to feel comfortable.
Should you wish to go ahead and make an appointment we will then make arrangements to meet whether this be online, on the phone or face to face.
I try hard, depending on my availability, to meet new clients within a week or two of any new enquiry.
