About me and my therapy practice

is life very overwhelming and challenging at times? Do you feel sometimes out of control and lost? Do you suffer from stress.? I can help you find place within yourself which is untouched by the chaos. Within our therapeutic relationship, we explore together how life is for you at your own pace. I provide a confidential, non-judgemental safe space. I will help you develop your relationship with yourself, to raise your self-esteem and well being. You are the master of your own ship, I will work with you to find your way, and help you live your best life.

I am a qualified transpersonal counsellor with over 20 years and life coach having extensive experience working with many people. My practice I focus working on attachment, and an exploration of yourself. I work in a creative way, using a wide range of techniques.  mindfulness, somatic body work, solution focused in a person centred way.

A sense of belonging is something that we all need, and at times in our lives, whatever age we may feel lost. If this is something that you are struggling with in your life, I invite you to contact me in so that we can discuss how we can work together to enable change, growth, and healing to help empower yourself and give you a sense of well being.

Practice description

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving you feeling anxious, stressed, disconnected, or unsure of your direction. You may be struggling with relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma, grief, neurodiversity, or simply feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Whatever has brought you to therapy, I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.

With over 20 years of experience, I work with individuals and couples to explore the challenges they are facing and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique needs, drawing on attachment-based therapy, transpersonal counselling, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and person-centred principles. Together, we can explore how past experiences, relationships, and beliefs may be influencing your current life, while helping you build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

I have particular experience supporting clients with anxiety, stress, depression, low self-worth, trauma, ADHD, autism, relationship issues, and life transitions. I believe therapy is not simply about managing symptoms but about creating meaningful and lasting change, helping you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and self-compassion.

Our work will move at a pace that feels right for you. In our sessions, you can expect a confidential, respectful, and supportive environment where you are encouraged to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgement. My aim is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your choices, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges.

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, but you do not have to face things alone. I offer an initial consultation so we can discuss what is bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether we are the right fit to work together.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore what has brought you to therapy. I understand that taking this first step can feel daunting, so I aim to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you can feel comfortable talking at your own pace.

Before our first appointment, I will send you a brief intake form and information about confidentiality, data protection, and our working agreement. I work in accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø) Ethical Framework, which underpins my commitment to providing a safe, respectful, confidential, and professional therapeutic service. This helps ensure that you have all the information you need and allows us to make the best use of our time together.

During the initial session, we will discuss your current concerns, relevant life experiences, personal history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will also explore any questions you may have about the therapeutic process and discuss how we might work together moving forward. There is no expectation to share everything immediately; the session is designed to help you feel heard, understood, and supported.

The first session also provides an opportunity for us to assess whether we are a good fit for one another. A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for meaningful and effective therapy, and I encourage you to use this time to decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.

Following our initial meeting, we can discuss recommendations for ongoing therapy, including the frequency of sessions and the most appropriate approach to support your needs and goals. If I believe another service or specialist support would better meet your needs, I will discuss this openly and help guide you towards appropriate resources.

My standard session fee applies to the initial consultation unless otherwise agreed.
