About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Sasha and I am a registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø and have been qualified in Person-Centred Existential Counselling for over 10 years, providing 1:1 therapy for Young People and Adults.

The way of the world is very challenging, demanding and overwhelming for the people of today, and the way we try to manage this could result in negative and toxic coping skills that are often unhealthy and unsafe, such as Self-Harming Behaviours,, Alcohol and Drugs, Neglect and Isolation. I want to try and change the world of today for a better and more healthier tomorrow.

Practice description

I am an integrative counsellor and understand that one size doesn’t fit all so I adapt my practice to suit the needs of every person seeking therapeutic support, whether they are looking for CBT to help challenge and change the way they think and feel or Transactional Analysis to help them find out why they think, feel or behave in a particular way exploring childhood experiences, upbringing and the messages received as a child and the impact this can have in adulthood and relationships with others.

My first session

Our first session will involve completing an assessment that will enable me to gather as much information and allowing us to identify what areas you want support in and what type of therapeutic approach might be most suitable to your needs. At the end of the assessment, you can outline what your expectations of therapy are and identify any goals you want to achieve during your time in therapy. Sessions are 50 minutes and a progress review is completed every 4-6 sessions to ensure your needs and expectations are being met.

Young people may choose to have a parent attend the assessment and review sessions as no content will be discussed unless consent is given. The review aims to focus on progress rather than process.

Your voice is important and I want to hear it.
