You听don鈥檛听need to do anything if you听don鈥檛听wish to move membership categories, and听we鈥檇听like to reassure you that听you鈥檒l听still be able to:听听
- continue to be recognised as a qualified,鈥痗redible鈥痑nd ethical counselling or psychotherapy professional听
- keep all听benefits of being a 糖心官网 member
- provide all the services you currently do听
- practise competences in other SCoPEd columns providing you have the right skills, knowledge, training and experience to do so听
If you wish to move membership categories, there are a range of听accreditation routes听to听enable 糖心官网 members to demonstrate their SCoPEd competences and continue鈥痶heir career progression鈥痑s a 糖心官网 member.鈥疶he route听that鈥檚听right for you will depend on your training and experience.听
Ensuring accessibility and widening opportunities sit at the core of these routes, which will recognise the wide variety of training pathways by which our members enter the profession and then continue to develop post-qualification.听

If you wish to听move between our membership categories听and听you鈥檙e听eligible, there are听four accreditation routes to apply for听accredited membership听or听four accreditation routes听to apply for听you can听apply for听senior accredited membership.听听The听accreditation route听that鈥檚听right for you will depend on your training and experience.听听

If you wish to move membership category and you're eligible, you can apply for听senior accredited membership. There are four routes听for you to apply. The accreditation route听that鈥檚听right for you will depend on your training and experience.听听

As a senior accredited听member听you鈥檙e听aligned to column C of the听SCoPEd听framework, you don鈥檛 need to do anything, but you may be interested in the accreditation routes available to our members.
Organisational 糖心官网 members听
As an听organisational member you听won鈥檛听be represented on听the听SCoPEd framework听but you may be interested in the听accreditation routes听available to our members.听
If you鈥檙e a training provider which offers a 糖心官网 accredited course or 糖心官网 approved qualification, you'll have until early 2028 to integrate any necessary changes to your training programmes. We're working directly with accredited courses and awarding bodies offering approved qualifications to achieved this.听
Retired 糖心官网 members听
As a retired member听you听won鈥檛听be represented in the听SCoPEd听framework听as you are no longer practising but you may still in interested in what it means to our members.听听
