 I am Sue and welcome to my page.  I appreciate that taking this step to seek support can be daunting and choosing a counsellor is hard so please let me start by sharing with you a little bit about me, my background, and my practice.  You may be feel鈥�

I am fully qualified and accredited as a counsellor/psychotherapist. I am also a fully qualified CBT therapist. I deliver a therapeutic relationship that is supportive, challenging, and compassionate. I draw upon practices that have been shown by res鈥�

About me I can help you understand yourself and feel more positive through my knowledge of MSc in counselling and positive psychology. What is PP you may ask? Positive psychology focuses on the positive events and influences in life. It has the abili鈥�

I have experience with a wide variety of issues, including: Relationship, Family issues, Stress, Anxiety, Depression, HIV, Sexuality, Life threatening illness, Addiction, Bereavement, Loss of meaning and purpose, Identity issues, Low self-esteem, Rel鈥�

I have over 20 years experience as a  CBT and EMDR psychotherapist and supervisor and have undertaken various clinical training programmes. Furthermore, I have worked in various settings such as: the National Health Service (NHS) as a Cognitive Behav鈥�

I believe that in times like these it is only natural to feel anxious and depressed. It is only natural to be emotional. Perhaps you are tired of being made to feel like a problem to be solved? Are you fed up up of people trying to fix you when it is鈥�

My approach is Humanistic Person Centred which means I work with the here and now unconditionally I use CBT when appropriate to set individuals home work to encourage reflecting upon their own feelings and behaviour. I use and apply different techniq鈥�
